What We Believe

At Well Soul Life, we serve Christians from various faith traditions, and so the saying goes: In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; and in all things, love.

Our essentials can be best expressed in the Apostles Creed and in the core belief that the Bible is the inspired Word of God (1 Timothy 3:16–17). It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It’s the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living, and is without error in the original manuscripts.

Beyond these essential beliefs, here are other other convictions pertaining to Well Soul Life:

INVOLVEMENT IN THE LOCAL CHURCH

It is our conviction that the ministry resources provided by Well Soul Life do not replace God’s provision of the local church. We encourage all believers be active participants in the local church (Hebrews 10:23–25), not giving up meeting together in person. All believers are to employ their gifts in the local body to build up one another to grow into full maturity in Christ (Ephesians 4:11–13, 1 Corinthians 12:3–8, Romans 12:1–8).

WOMEN IN MINISTRY

It is our conviction that women are to employ their gifting as part of the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12) and are to exercise their gifts to build up the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11–13). It is our conviction that godly male elders serve with spiritual authority in the local church to oversee doctrine and ministry (1 Timothy 3:1–7).

MARRIAGE

It is our conviction that God created man and woman to partner together to care for the world and fill the earth with God’s image (Genesis 1:27–28). Man and woman have distinct design (Genesis 2:18–25), and are to serve together as God’s image bearers (Genesis 2:18–24, 5:2).

THE ROLE OF WELL SOUL LIFE

Well Soul Life exists to resource and inspire others to know God’s Word, walk with God, and live with kingdom purpose. Our target audience is women, but God’s word and truth thereof are for all believers, so we welcome God’s Spirit to utilize our content to encourage whomever he so chooses through our digital ministry. We are not a replacement for the believer to be connected into a local church community, where spiritual maturity and accountability are best cultivated.
